Series 25 Nurse Call System
MediCall Series 25 is an advanced nurse call communication system, designed to meet and exceed the requirements of the Department of Health's current Bedhead Services: Technical Design Manual and other applicable standards. The system is quick and efficient to install, readily expandable and simple to maintain. Modular design allows for a wide choice in system configuration and enables straightforward future upgrade or modification. The system provides high reliability with minimal maintenance.
System Features
Nurse Indicator Panel - Colour touchscreen LCD display clearly indicating calls, prioritised by level and chronological order. Optional mimic 'map' type format is also available.
Follow The Lights – A series of over-door indicators which guide staff directly to the location of the call.
Call Levels - 3 levels of call as standard - 'Patient', 'WC/Bath' and 'Emergency' with further user definable call levels, such as 'Cardiac', 'Controlled Drugs', 'Panic' etc.
Speech – Optional two-way communication between patient and nursing staff, offering faster response and immediate reassurance to patients.
Entertainment – Several integrated options are available, from 16 channels of audio entertainment, to bedside Freeview LCD TV. All with full control via the nurse call handset.
Paging – Interfaces with paging systems displaying calls by alphanumeric pagers. Improves staff response time, enabling flexible and team based nursing practice.
Call logging – Event history may be viewed within each ward, or also at an optional central PC which may export files for office applications.
Nurse Presence – Optional indication of staff's presence within a room by over-door indicator, plus the nurse call indicator panel.
Bedlight Control – Optional integrated switching of external lighting, or on/off/dimming control of the Medilight within Mediplan trunking. Reading lights may be operated via the nurse call handset.
